Jalapeno Hummus

Our number two dip is hummus with a twist! Hummus is a classic and the great thing about it, is you can always change it up. This is why we love this Mexican version – remember you can make it as spicy as you like by adding more smoked paprika or cayenne pepper.

1 cup chickpeas
1/3 cup Old El Paso™ Green Jalapenos
3 tablespoons tahini
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Smoked paprika to taste
Method
1. In a blender or food processor, mix the chickpeas, Old El Paso jalapeno peppers, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice. Season with cumin, curry powder, and smoked paprika. Blend the dip until smooth.
Mexican Cheese Dip

This one is for the cheese lovers! We also love adding small chunks of other cheeses like Brie, Camembert or Gouda to this recipe to make it even cheesier!

250 grams of cheddar
1/4 cup of milk (maybe more if you want it thinner)
1 tablespoon of butter
1/2 jar of Old El Paso™ Green Jalapenos

A pinch of cayenne pepper
Method
- Place cheese, milk, and butter in a saucepan over low heat.
