Beat the Back to Work Blues

Beating the Back-to-Work Blues

The holiday’s over - now to get back on track.

After the long summer break, it’s sometimes hard to get back into the swing of post-holiday work. But don’t worry – we’re here to get your work rhythm going again with our ‘how to beat the back-to-work blues’ top 4 tips. Start with number 4 today (and over the next few days for the rest) and see how quickly you feel back on top of the world.

4) Get into a routine and exercise throughout the week. The best time to go is before work because by the end of it, you’re mind will be well awake and you’ll be ready for the rest of the day. When your mind is clear, you can work efficiently and even lower stress. Now, that’s a bonus!

3) You don’t need coffee to keep the energy going; a healthy afternoon snack is all you need, like a Nature Valley Crunchy Variety Pack in your drawer to get rid of 3:30itis. When the work is piling up, there’s nothing better than a yummy and healthy snack to keep you going strong!

2) Work is always better when you have something to look forward to, so always have something planned for the weekends. Why not head to the beach, go cycling or just get outdoors for a jog around the block. Or even go one further and plan a long weekend! Watch your mood increase as the departure date gets closer ;)

1) Our number one tip? It’s work itself. Make sure you like what you do AND the people you work with because you spend more time with them than anyone else you know – fact!

Remember work doesn’t have to be ‘hard’ work so enjoy it, take a moment and reflect on our 4 points as you head back to work!
