We’re here to help you survive the holidays so you can host the perfect festive gathering with ease. Let’s face it, holiday cooking can get stressful! Between finding a way to keep food fresh and at the perfect temperature, and trying to cater for a crowd... well, you might need a month off! But not to worry… we’re here to help!
1. A pasta bar
A pasta bar is the perfect solution to catering for a crowd! Of course, when you cater for a crowd, give everyone a chance to enjoy their flavour preferences so they can twist it their way. Just like a buffet, a ‘customisation station’ can be set up near a pasta bar. You can offer fresh herbs, such as chopped parsley mixed with lemon zest, fresh basil leaves, some grated salted ricotta, toasted pine nuts, garlic breadcrumbs, dried olives, or some flavoursome crisply baked pancetta. We think these make wonderful tasty additions for guests to add to their meal!
2. Roast vegetable salad
Here’s a recipe idea: Why not try oven roasting some soft vegetables like capsicum strips, zucchini chunks, cherry tomato halves and red onion wedges with loads of olive oil. Pop onto a large serving platter with some fresh spinach leaves and a sprinkle of sea salt, then add cooked tortellini and toss to combine. It’s that easy!
3. Oven bakes
Oven bakes work well too! The way to time your meal preparation is to pre-cook the night before and heat them up before dinner, helping you get the food out on time to your guests. Lasagnes, cannelloni and pasta bakes using tortellini are some of our favourites! Use our flavoursome Latina sauces as a base and add your own twist with fresh vegetables, herbs, and finish with beautiful cheeses like burrata, fresh ricotta or pecorino. Bon appetit!

4. Cold pasta salads
With the warmer weather upon us, cold pasta salads are perfect for large festive get-togethers, especially if they’re outdoors! Toss cooked pasta through your favourite salad or add delicious cooked pasta to chunks of barbecued vegetables and slather with olive oil.
