You’re welcome! One Pot Pasta Would you like a quick and creamy pasta meal? Pour a tub of Creamy Bacon and Mushroom Sauce into a medium sized saucepan. Fill the empty sauce container with water and add to the pan. Stir, and heat over medium heat until simmering and then add a cupful of peas and 375g Spinach and Ricotta Tortellini. Simmer for 5 minutes, and then stir in ½ cup of grated cheese and a handful of baby spinach leaves. Italian Tomato and Garlic Sauce For a change from the usual pasta and sauce, heat a container of Latina Tomato and Garlic Sauce with a container of water (same amount of water as sauce). Add some cubed pumpkin or zucchini. When the sauce is simmering, add a pack of Veal Tortellini and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 1/3 cup of cream. Sprinkle with freshly chopped soft herbs before serving. Suggestions/variations: Or fry some chorizo slices in the pan before adding the sauce and water and finishing with some whole fresh basil leaves. Or fry some cubed eggplant in the pan before adding sauce and water, then finish by stirring in ½ cup of fresh ricotta cheese. Chicken Stock Heat chicken stock with sliced leeks, carrots and halved cherry tomatoes. Add fresh pasta and simmer for 5 minutes or until cooked before serving with freshly chopped soft herbs and a sprinkle of cheese. Some alternatives: asparagus then top with a teaspoonful of crème fraiche, shredded BBQ chicken, baby spinach leaves or chopped broccolini. Soup Winter warming Minestrone Soup can be made extra hearty with the addition of fresh tortellini. Add fresh pasta to the soup when the veggies are almost cooked and simmer for 5 minutes before serving. To make the soup, simmer a selection of fresh vegetables such as carrots, zucchini, leeks, pumpkin, halved cherry tomatoes, peas, corn and canned kidney beans in chicken stock for 20 minutes until tender.
