Now, our Butterfly Cake is surprisingly easy to make and is a perfect centerpiece if you’re hosting a Mardi Gras party at home. Follow our frosting tips to make this even more colourful.
Calling all girly girls! This Pink Castle Cake is fit for a queen. Thanks to our Strawberry Frosting, this cake is OTT and absolutely glamorous.

Oh yeah Flower Cupcakes! Pull out the doilies and decorate your outdoor table with some bright flowers – make these cupcakes the piece de resistance and you’ve got yourself a Mardi Gras high tea!

If your cake is missing a bit of razzle dazzle, try adding a layer of rainbow frosting. It makes the most boring of cakes extraordinary and the brilliant cakes jaw dropping! Simply divide Vanilla Frosting into small bowls and add a small drop of food colouring into each. Mix the bowls of frosting separately then spoon each colour onto one side of a piping bag. Each colour should have its own hole in the bag so when you squeeze it out, each streak can be seen. This will give you lovely even rainbow frosting!

You can also add some sprinkles, edible flowers, colourful candles etc. for decoration. If you’re happy and you know it – decorate!
Remember to let us know how you celebrated this year’s Mardi Gras. If you baked up a storm & rainbows, please share your pictures with us on Facebook! We can’t wait to see all the colour and glitter ;)
